Lavastone & Quartzite Colours
Set the perfect mood and infuse your home with character
From natural, Mediterranean-style to bold, industrial looks
The right color choice plays a crucial role in transforming your space, and our range of shades helps you create the perfect interior. Popular microcement floor colors include shades of grey, white, and taupe, while many clients also opt for light grey, anthracite, and warm, natural tones.
The unique characteristic of our Lavastone range is the subtle, black volcanic grit, which adds a textured, one-of-a-kind look full of personality and charm. Below, you’ll find our standard color palette, but if you’re looking for something special, we can create custom colors to suit your vision.
The strongest cast floors in the world
Go for a smooth and minimalistic look with natural tones
Quartzite is more subtle than lava stone minerals, resulting in a smooth, more uniform look. A seamless, minimalistic finish in combination with natural colours helps create an environment of peace and tranquility. Below, you’ll find our most popular colour palette, but if you’re looking for something special, we can create custom colors to suit your vision.

Can a cast floor be applied directly over tiles?
Yes, a cast floor can be applied directly over tiles. We begin by applying a thin, solid layer of cement to create a smooth foundation, then build up our cast floor system with five carefully applied layers.
How long does it take to apply a cast floor?
Installing an IZU floor takes 5–7 days, followed by a drying period. 48 hours after the work is finished, you can step on it on socks. The floor will need a week before furniture can be placed. In total, the house needs to be empty for 2 weeks.
Is an IZU® cast floor a better alternative than microcement?
Unlike microcement, IZU floors are highly resistant to scratches, UV light, and water, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Their superior strength comes from a specialized material composition based on resin and hard minerals. With the right base, our floors are built up in five layers of ultra-durable material, ensuring a flawless and long-lasting finish.
What is the thickness of an IZU® cast floor?
Our floors are only 2-3 mm thick, excluding the leveling layer. This layer might need to be applied to smoothen the surface. The thickness of this layer depends on the surface below.
Is an IZU floor suitable for outside?
Yes! Our floors are UV- and waterproof, and therefore perfect for your pool area, terrace, and patio. Our floors are very easy to keep clean, will keep their color and don’t stain.
What happens if coffee or wine spills on an IZU® cast floor?
Absolutely nothing! Our floors are protected with an antibacterial, stain-resistant resin that prevents any dirt or liquid from being absorbed. Just wipe away the spill with a damp cloth, and it will look like it never happened.
